Lucas Baker, Ph.D.

Dr. Lucas D. Baker earned his M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of South Dakota in 2023. Prior to this, he graduated with an A.S. in Computer Science from Casper College, followed by a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Wyoming. His Ph.D. research concentrated on the health and well-being of frontline personnel. Dr. Baker’s contributions can be found in peer-reviewed outlets such as the Journal of Traumatic Stress, Occupational Medicine, and Policing: An International Journal. He furthered his training in 2023 with an APA-accredited internship at the George E. Wahlen Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. During this period, Dr. Baker completed core training rotations with the PTSD Clinical Team and Neuropsychological Assessment, as well as adjunctive rotations with Primary Care, Substance Use Rehabilitation, Complimentary & Integrative Health, and Neurology. Currently, at Psychological Dimensions, Dr. Baker is under the supervision of Dr. Michael Bricker and Dr. Heather McElroy, both of whom are experienced licensed psychologists specializing in Police and Public Safety Psychology.
