Dr. Elliott DeVore, Ph.D.

Dr. Elliott DeVore is a Postdoctoral Clinical Psychology Fellow. He earned his Ph.D. and M.A in Psychology at the University of Tennessee and completed his predoctoral internship at the University of Illinois Chicago where he focused in individual, couples and group psychotherapy. Dr. DeVore has provided psychological services and assessment in a variety of settings including an inpatient drug and alcohol treatment center, university health centers, and private practice. His academic work has been published in numerous peer reviewed journals including the Journal of Personality Assessment, Journal of Counseling Psychology, Journal of Marriage and Family Therapy, and the American Journal of Bioethics. He also co-edited a book exploring ideas of Job Fit.  He is currently supervised by Dr. Michael Bricker and Dr. Heather McElroy, both practiced and experienced psychologists in the field of police and public safety psychology.
