Proofreader
Ms. Estrella is the Proofreader for Psychological Dimensions, the national police and public-safety risk-management firm, where she safeguards the clarity, consistency, and grammatical precision of fitness-for-duty evaluations, pre-employment screening reports, and other mission-critical documents. With more than four decades of administrative experience across education, aviation, municipal engineering, and forensic services, she brings an uncommon blend of operational rigor and linguistic exactness to the organization. Ms. Estrella began her career as Registrar of a private English-language school in San Juan, Puerto Rico, before relocating to Colorado and spending seven years as PTA President within Denver Public Schools. She later earned certification in Travel and Tourism from Arapahoe Community College, joined Continental Airlines’ Denver reservations center, and managed corporate travel for Xcel Energy until the post-9/11 industry contraction. In 2002 she shifted to public service with the City and County of Denver, serving fifteen years in the Engineering Department at Denver International Airport, where she coordinated critical records and logistics. Following municipal retirement, she supported Forensics Truths—the polygraph provider for Psychological Dimensions—before formally joining the firm in April 2021. Now entering her fifth year, Ms. Estrella is renowned for returning error-free reports ahead of deadline, a discipline first honed as a childhood spelling-bee champion and later enforced, much to her children’s chagrin, on every homework assignment. Away from her desk she enjoys quilting, gardening, reading, and doting on her grandchildren. Her meticulous proofreading ensures that those who protect the public are themselves protected by clear, accurate, and reliable psychological documentation, because in the high-stakes world of public safety, every word matters.
